PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE LIFE YOU´RE ACTUALLY LIVING

The photographs that matter most aren't always the perfectly posed ones.

They're the gestures, the movement, the people you love and the small moments you didn't realize you'd want to remember.

I photograph families, couples and intimate weddings with a documentary approach — gently guided when needed, but always rooted in connection, presence and what is real.

STORIES I PHOTOGRAPH

FAMILIES

The chaos, the closeness, the little things

COUPLES

Love, without asking you to perform it.

MATERNITY

For the quiet anticipation of someone not yet here.

INTIMATE WEDDINGS

For promises made in your own way.

BEHIND THE CAMERA

Hi, I´m Alma

I’ve always been drawn to the things that disappear too quickly — a gesture, a look, the way someone reaches for the person they love. Photography became my way of paying attention.

I’m Alma, a documentary photographer based in Puerto Vallarta. I photograph people as they are: sometimes quiet, sometimes chaotic, sometimes a little strange — but always human. More than creating perfect photographs, I’m interested in preserving what it felt like to be there.

BEYOND THE EVERYDAY

Some stories live outside the everyday — on a stage, in a body, in the freedom of becoming someone else for a moment.

ARTISTS & LIVE MUSIC

Portraits, performance and the energy in between.

BOUDOIR

A portrait of yourself, exactly as you are in this moment.

WE ARE ONLY HERE FOR A WHILE.

Everything is always becoming something else.
Children grow. Bodies change. People come and go. We become different versions of ourselves.

We are here for a moment — and then the moment becomes a memory.

Maybe that is why photographs matter.

LET'S PRESERVE WHAT'S HERE, WHILE IT'S HERE.
